Masecor, S.L.
In 2024 we launched a wood fibre production line for substrates, becoming the first company in Spain to produce this material for sustainable, high-quality growing media.
Masecor, S.L. was founded more than 40 years ago. From the outset it focused on collecting and recycling by-products and waste from wood and plant materials, which it processes and recovers for later sale.
For years, Masecor, S.L. has held authorisation as a non-hazardous waste manager. Together with the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification, this demonstrates its commitment to the environment and is a guarantee of the company’s future viability and that of its customers.
Our products fall into the families of Growing substrates, Landscaping, Outdoor timber and Biomass —sawdust, wood chips, bark, olive pomace, among others— to deliver a broad, effective range as an alternative to the fossil fuels used until now.
The production plant is in Motilla del Palancar, covering six hectares, where we carefully manage every product and process, always meeting current legislation and respecting the environment.
We have our own in-house laboratory, where we run quality controls and advise every customer on the substrates that best fit their needs, providing physico-chemical analyses and technical data sheets.
Research, development and innovation
R&D&I has been the basis for a new dedicated line of technical substrates under the Ecomanglar brand, a further step in specialising growing media.
